First series of Sadbhaw Corporate Futsal held- 31 scholarships distributed

Kathmandu: The first series of Sadbhaw Corporate Futsal Tournament was held on Saturday where 12 renowned Corporate Houses and organizations of Nepal participated and distributed Sadbhaw Scholarships to 31 needy Nepali children. Smart Foods and Snacks Pvt.Ltd. won the one-day tournament held at X-cel Futsal ground at Baluwatar, Kathmandu, whereas, Florid Laboratories grabbed the 1st Runners-up position. One child was handed over with Scholarships package by the winning team of each game played on the tournament. Coca-Cola’s President for India and Southwest Asia visited HCI’s Social Enterprise Center

Kathmandu: Coca-Cola’s President for India and Southwest Asia, Mr. Venkatesh Kini visited HCI’s Social Enterprise Center at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu on Tuesday. On his visit, Kini committed to increase Coca-Cola’s support to scale-up Nagar Mitra- Friends of the City Social Enterprise in the days to come. Kini was joined by Mr. T. 1 October 2016: Hamri Bahini ko Pasal- a green shop of Hamri Bhaini- The Green Angels Social Enterprise is opened at Labim Mall - a famous shopping destination in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, targeting the festival season. HCI CEO left her MBBS full scholarships to become an environment conservationist

22 September 2016: “Despite of all the odds, I dropped the full scholarships to study MBBS and joined Environmental Science in my undergraduate level. The decision which I made few years back has helped me be what I am today, and I am proud to have taken that decision then” says Ms. Shilshila Acharya, CEO of HCI while telling her story as an environment conservationist at the WWF The Storytellers- Conservation Series.
